The Faculty Administration Support & Training Community of Practice and the Office of the Provost celebrated a successful year on Thursday, May 23, 2024. Provost John McGreevy kicked off the event, noting a top priority for the university that the group accomplished: thinking like an institution.
The group recognized top contributors Hether Graham (Mendoza) and Kim Kirkpatrick (Science) for their service and participation in the group.
Emily Tacoma, Joe Gettinger, and Joe Lyphout shared the impact of process improvements, noting the reduction in processing time for approvals.
Jim Baad shared a brief demonstration of a new user interface that would make document uploads to checklists virtually seamless. The awe and anticipation in the room was profound.

Rich Forrester shared successes from the year, citing the group’s increased collaboration, communication, and community recognition. The FAST website has become an invaluable tool and is continuing to evolve.
