Dear FAST Community of Practice Members,
We hope this newsletter finds you well as we near the end of the semester. As part of our ongoing commitment to keep you informed regarding activities within our community, we are pleased to provide you with the latest updates:
Dean's Office Meetings
The Dean’s Office FAST community members have started their monthly meetings with the goal of increasing collaboration and knowledge sharing across the academy. Their recent meeting centered on setting a recurring meeting schedule, addressing process deadlines and questions (RPT for T/TT and TPAC/R/L), sharing ideas for streamlining and process improvement, as well as getting to know one another (this meeting revealed that we have a published author among us!). The strong partnership between the dean’s offices and our community is helping to shape the future of FAST.
Department Experts
We are excited to introduce you to the esteemed members of our community who have been recognized as experts in their respective areas. Nominated by their Dean’s Office colleagues, these individuals have accepted roles as mentors to their colleagues, and their expertise and willingness to serve as an early point of contact for thoughts, questions, suggestions, and collaboration will be a valuable resource for our community. FAST Website
We are excited to announce that the FAST community has a website: facultyadministration.nd.edu. This website will serve as a central hub for faculty life-cycle process information, resources, and updates. One of the website’s features will be the inclusion of a contact roster for our recognized department experts as well as for other subgroups within the community. This roster will allow you to network with the appropriate subject matter expert on any questions you may have. We invite you to explore the website and let us know how this site could best serve you. Your advice as thought partners is greatly appreciated and our aim is for the site to evolve as we grow and work together. It is our hope that this website becomes a vital resource with the most up-to-date information in a concise format. We are grateful for any feedback you may provide.
Shared Google Drive
In the FAST_COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE drive, you’ll have access to the full roster for the community, Dean’s Office meeting notes, Department Experts’ notes, and updates from the Provost’s Office. We will use this drive to share information with the community.
RPT Reminders
- We have received a few questions about how to start checklists after the latest OnBase updates. Please find documentation on checklist selection and a short video on the updated checklist functionality.
- The 23–24 RPT timeline is attached for reference
- Jenny Meert has provided the relevant documents for T-TT female candidates via Box. Please reach out to Jenny or Demetra Schoenig if you have any questions.
