Maggie Wolford

Maggie Wolford is the University's Dual Career Consultant, leading the Dual Career Assistance Program in partnership with Human Resources and the Office of the Provost. The program offers the spouse or partner of a newly hired full-time, permanent faculty or staff member personalized job-search assistance tailored to their unique skills and needs. Maggie's responsibilities include assisting spouses and partners with one-on-one consultations, job-search strategies, document reviews for specific applications, and building networks at Notre Dame and within the larger community.

 

Maggie joined the team in June 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience in graduate recruitment, admissions, career advising, and relationship development. She previously worked in Notre Dame’s Meruelo Family Center for Career Development, where she served as Graduate Career Consultant for Professional Master’s students. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Maggie served at Binghamton University as Director of Watson Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. Her professional background also includes roles as Graduate Student Orientation Manager, International Graduate Recruiter, and Recruiting Campaign Manager. Throughout her career, Maggie has developed expertise in relationship-building, career advising, strategic outreach, and connecting talented individuals with meaningful opportunities. She has presented at national and international conferences, advised individuals navigating complex educational and career decisions, and cultivated partnerships across higher education, industry, and community organizations. She is particularly passionate about helping highly skilled professionals identify pathways to thrive both personally and professionally.

Originally from Kentucky, Maggie holds a Master of Divinity from Drew University, a Master’s in Public Relations and a Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research from Ball State University, and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Murray State University.
